What should you know about ED?

If you can’t develop or maintain an erection that’s strong enough for sexual intercourse, then you have ED. Even if the term “impotence” is no longer as often used, many men still use it to describe their condition. Erectile dysfunction toronto is not uncommon. In times of stress, it’s common for many people to have it. Frequent ED, on the other hand, may indicate underlying health issues that need to be addressed. It may also be an indication of emotional or relationship issues that you should seek professional help for.

Problems with erection might lead to ED at any point in the process. Increased blood flow to the penis results in erection. As a general rule, sexual ideas and physical contact with your penis are the most common ways of promoting blood flow. Penis blood vessels relax when someone with a penis is sexually stimulated. Two chambers inside the penis are now filled with blood thanks to this procedure. The penis stiffens when blood accumulates in the chambers. When the muscles in the blood vessels relax, the stored blood can be expelled through the penile veins and the erection is complete. A physical examination and a review of your medical and sexual history might be part of the process of determining whether or not you have ED. Additional tests may be ordered by your doctor to see if there is an underlying issue that is causing your symptoms.

-Examine the body
-Expect a physical exam, in which your doctor will:
-keep your ears and heart open
-Take a reading of your heart rate.
-take a look at your sperm and penis
-A rectal exam to examine your prostate may also be recommended by your doctor.
